The beauty of silence. Listen to yourself. Create. Find something that we haven't noticed until now. Open our mind, be free. Amaze yourself with sound, explore, don’t be afraid and... fly!
Vera Zolkina / Salzburg – Austria
Born in Russia. She studied first Piano and Correpetition at the State College of Music in Samara Russia. Later she graduated with the master's degree in music education at the University of Pedagogy in Samara Russia. She studied dance at the State Collage for Culture in Russia. She moved to Austria and completed her studies of Elementary music and dance pedagogy with the Master of Art at the Orff-Institute, department of the University of Mozarteum in Salzburg 2015. She contributes to the artistic and organizational design of the International Summer Courses.
Topic of the lesson:Movement, dance and body expression are one unit. Especially in the Baroque the dance form, the expression and attitude were on a very high stylized level. We want to take the basic elements out of these very sophisticated dances, to use them as models and to put them into a different context in the elementary dance lessons for children. The formal structures in connection with various elements of movement form possibilities to improvise and develop their own choreographic transformations.

Topic of Atelier:Baroque Paper Dress Workhop
In this workshop we take a look at the pompous world of baroque gowns and accessories. We examine their special characteristics and proportions. Based on this knowledge we are going to fold our own geometric origami gowns. Dresses basically determine and limit the motion of people. There is an obvious relation between dresses and the way of dancing and moving of people. After creating our gowns and accessories we are going to try them on and see how we can walk or dance while wearing them.

It will be a trip to the world of a small child, where lullabies, original rhythms, simple shapes, pure colors and lively sounds. The brightness, simplicity and tenderness of the Ukrainian songs will wake up a little child in everyone's soul. We will present several models for working with 2-7 year old children.
